Abstract: Helicoidal method is a name that we gave to a unitary and robust collection of iterative techniques, which together allow one to obtain new paradigms for proving sharp vector valued inequalities, mixed norm estimates and sparse domination for many of the operators of interest in harmonic analysis. The goal of the talk is to describe some examples of situations in which the method plays an important role. We also hope to have time to explain some of the details behind the method itself.
